Pumping stations should be serviced regularly to ensure that all pumps, pipework, valves and control equipment are kept in full working order.

On a domestic pumping station an annual service is recommended, on higher usage pumping stations a more frequent service arrangement may be advisable, all our engineers are confined space trained and our vehicles carry all necessary Health and Safety equipment to ensure we are suitably equipped for every job.

Initial inspection

When we receive an enquiry about a pumping station we have not previously serviced, we may require our engineers to carry out an initial inspection and service (chargeable) before we will offer an ongoing service plan.

The initial visit allows us to assess the current condition of the chamber, pipework and pumping equipment and any connected controls or alarms, we will advise of any remedial work that needs to be carried out following our visit.

Tankering Service

Depending on the nature of the servicing or maintenance required, it maybe necessary to empty your pumping station so that our engineers can complete their work, in this instance a tanker will be required. We can arrange tankering across Buckinghamshire.

Meeting the SSIP Core Criteria demonstrates that we are serious about H&S and have (and use) an effective H&S Management System to ensure that any work they are engaged in is, so far as reasonably practical, carried out without risk to health and safety.
