The Tecflow flanged ball check valve is a robust non-return solution engineered specifically for high solids fluid management. Unlike standard swing check valves that suffer from premature clogging in sewage and effluent applications, this unit utilises an unrestricted internal chamber. When the pump starts, fluid pressure forces the internal NBR encapsulated ball up and completely out of the flow path, creating a 100% full bore stream with exceptionally low head loss.
The heavy duty valve assembly is manufactured from high tensile GJS500-7 ductile iron, providing excellent structural resilience against systemic shockwaves and fluid surging. To combat aggressive chemicals and rust in buried networks, the casting receives an internal and external 250 micron protective epoxy coating (RAL 5017).
