Product description
Experience superior filtration and crystal-clear water with the Mega MFS side mount pool sand filter. Constructed from premium-grade, high-density polyethylene and featuring innovative, one-piece blown construction with ABS laterals, this filter delivers heavy-duty performance and reliability for most domestic swimming pools and spas.
The Mega MFS has a six-way side valve with a unique one-piece twist lock that has been designed to allow easy tool-free servicing and maintenance. The maximum working temperature is 50°C and the maximum working pressure is 2.8 bar, the filter comes complete with an easy-to-read pressure gauge.

50mm / 1½ inch (63mm / 2 inch for MFS27 and MFS31) stepped glue socket union adaptors for connection to your pool pipework (please note that for pipe measurement, Imperial = Internal Bore and Metric = Outside Diameter).

We also stock Filter sand for our filter sets, the recommended size of sand is 0.4 to 0.8 mm, sand is supplied in 25Kg bags.
Please note the sand required is a specific grade, please do not use builders’ sand or play sand as this may block or damage your filter.
The easy to use six-way side mounted multi-port valve lets you select any of the operations with a simple lever action, the functions of the multi-port valve are filtration, waste, closed, backwash, rinse and recirculating.
Please note you must always switch your pool pump off before changing the position of the multi-port valve.
If you are replacing a filter that forms part of an existing system then your replacement should match the size of the existing filter.
For example if you already have a 21 inch filter and 1.0HP pump on a 20m³ pool then you would still need 21 inch filter, alternatively you would need to replace both the pump and filter with a smaller selection as per our filter size guide.
