Engineered for permanent installation in challenging environments, the main outer casing and access bonnet are cast from ductile iron. Inside the chamber, the solid aluminium ball is completely encapsulated in heavy duty NBR rubber, providing excellent chemical resilience whilst ensuring a quiet, drop tight seal on closure.
The entire valve is shielded inside and out with a thick 250 micron fusion bonded epoxy coating (RAL 5017) to prevent rust scaling and extend the overall working life of the pipeline.
