Protection
A Direct On Line (DOL) panel is the most reliable way to start and protect a pump motor. Instead of slowly ramping up the power, a DOL panel connects the pump directly to the full electrical supply the moment it switches on.
If a pipe blocks, or the water supply runs dry, a pump will just keep running until it burns itself out. The AES EPIC 1D acts as the brain and safety guard for your system. It constantly monitors the electricity flowing to your pump. If it detects a spike in current, a drop in voltage, or signs of dry running, it instantly cuts the power, saving you from a pump failure and an expensive replacement bill.

The AES EPIC 1D is engineered to serve as a universal control solution across commercial, industrial, and residential pumping systems. Universal Compatibility
This direct on line panel is fully compatible with single-phase 230V or three-phase 400V submersible and surface-mounted pumps. It functions seamlessly alongside standard automation hardware, including single or multiple float switches, pressure switches, ultrasonic level probes, and 4-20 mA pressure transducers.
Advanced Motor Protection
To prevent premature motor failure, the internal microprocessor continuously tracks electrical signatures. The system delivers automatic protection against dry running (via undercurrent or external float/probe sensor), motor overload (overcurrent), phase failure, voltage drops, and excessive start-up cycles. Dedicated terminals for motor Klixon switches ensure real time thermal protection monitoring.
Industrial Automation & BMS Integration
Designed for modern building automation, the panel includes programmable run timers, anti-seizure cycling routines, and start-up delay parameters. A dedicated, volt-free contact output allows direct connection to Building Management Systems (BMS) for remote fault signalling and status tracking.
