Our Intex hose connection kit for heat pumps with 1½ inch glue or 1½ inch female threaded sockets allows you to easily adapt the threaded union on Intex hoses for simple connection to these heat pumps. The kit will also allow you to connect the 40mm Intex hose to a 38mm pool vac hose for extending the length of your pool hoses.
Our video above shows how you can use the supplied fittings to properly and securely connect the 40mm Intex hose to your heat pump, bypass kit or to lengths of 38mm hose.
Please note that depending on the connection you are making not all the fittings will be needed, we have put the kit together to enable most connection combinations between Intex hose and heat pumps, including our older Proteam iX models (pre 2023).
