Our surface mounted davit socket is designed to be bolted to the floor, once bolted down a lifting davit simply slots into the socket, making it possible to remove the lifting davit to another location if necessary. The sockets can be mounted directly on to concrete or steel work using M20 fixings.
The surface mounted davit socket has a mild steel construction with a galvanised finish to BSEN 1461 and will accommodate a lifting davit with post diameter of 65mm or 75mm.
