Highlights
The premium grade titanium heat exchanger inside the Remora BP700R provides protection against chemical corrosion from chlorine, bromine, salt water chlorination, and aggressive water balancing agents to prevent internal breakdown and extend system lifespan
Intelligent full inverter compressor technology automatically adjusts the internal motor speeds in single percentage increments to match shifting weather conditions and maintain peak energy efficiency without wasting electricity
An exceptionally high coefficient of performance allows the Remora system to deliver up to sixteen times the electrical energy put in, directly slashing monthly commercial utility bills compared to standard gas or electric element pool heaters
The aerodynamically optimised fan assemblies and fully insulated compressor compartment ensure ultra quiet operation
Advanced digital control interface allows maintenance crews to monitor performance metrics remotely, adjust temperature baselines instantly, and interface seamlessly with existing building management systems for automated oversight
Wi-Fi connectivity built-in – requires iOS / Android ‘Smart Life’ App (requires Wi-Fi network with suitable signal strength)

Sizing

Setup
Full installation guidelines can be found in the user manual including the recommended fuse and cable size.
Water inlet and outlet connections are 2 inch female threaded.
If the flow rate through your heat pump is too high it can take longer to heat your pool or you may struggle to achieve your desired temperature, our bypass kit for above ground pools optimises the flow rate to maximise the heat transfer to your pool water. A bypass kit also allows the circulation and filtering of pool water without heating and for winterising your heat pump.
The BP700R features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as standard (requires Wi-Fi network with suitable signal strength) and can be controlled from your smart device from anywhere in the world. The Smart Life App is available for both iOS and Android smart devices.
The Smart Life App can be used to view the current pool water temperature, adjust the desired temperature, switch between modes, set the timer, turn the heat pump on and off remotely and to view the operating status, parameters and error codes.
Inverter heat pumps use a variable speed compressor motor, the motor speeds up and slows down as needed to achieve and maintain the required temperature, the result is that the desired temperature will be reached more quickly and maintained more efficiently than a fixed speed motor.
Fixed speed motors reach the desired temperature more slowly as the output is fixed, once the temperature is reached they maintain the temperature by switching the motor on and off. By varying the output an inverter heat pump can speed up the time taken to achieve the initial temperature and thereafter maintain a constant temperature without the need to keep stopping and starting the compressor to control output.
With a C.O.P. range of 6.01 to 17.80, it means that for each kW of energy consumed up to 17.80kW of heat is transferred to your pool (dependent on both air and water temperature). Inverter technology avoids the power wastage of fixed speed motors, making an inverter heat pump more energy efficient and quieter to run.
