BP700R Inverter Heat Pump for Commercial Pools

BP700R Inverter Heat Pump for Commercial Pools

Commercial and public swimming pool heating is a major expense for local authorities and private businesses, the BP700R commercial inverter swimming pool heat pump was designed with this in mind.

With the steel structure and components selected from the leading brands, combined with Wi-Fi control, the heat pump adapts to the most demanding conditions of use.

The BP700R is equipped with the latest generation of DC Inverter compressor and fans for optimum energy efficiency, the fan modulates its speed according to the temperature of the evaporator, delivering only the airflow required, significantly reducing both electricity consumption and operating noise.

The vertical ventilation reduces acoustic pressure, this type of ventilation requires very little installation space.

The LED control panel displays all the information you need for simple operation. You can access advanced functions and key information directly on your smartphone, wherever you are, thanks to the Wi-Fi connection.

If the flow rate through your heat pump is too high it can take longer to heat your pool or you may struggle to achieve your desired temperature, our bypass kit for above ground pools optimises the flow rate to maximise the heat transfer to your pool water. A bypass kit also allows the circulation and filtering of pool water without heating and for winterising your heat pump.

Smart controls

The BP700R features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as standard (requires Wi-Fi network with suitable signal strength) and can be controlled from your smart device from anywhere in the world. The Smart Life App is available for both iOS and Android smart devices.

The Smart Life App can be used to view the current pool water temperature, adjust the desired temperature, switch between modes, set the timer, turn the heat pump on and off remotely and to view the operating status, parameters and error codes.

How does the BP700R heat?

Inverter heat pumps use a variable speed compressor motor, the motor speeds up and slows down as needed to achieve and maintain the required temperature, the result is that the desired temperature will be reached more quickly and maintained more efficiently than a fixed speed motor.

Fixed speed motors reach the desired temperature more slowly as the output is fixed, once the temperature is reached they maintain the temperature by switching the motor on and off. By varying the output an inverter heat pump can speed up the time taken to achieve the initial temperature and thereafter maintain a constant temperature without the need to keep stopping and starting the compressor to control output.

With a C.O.P. range of 6.01 to 17.80, it means that for each kW of energy consumed up to 17.80kW of heat is transferred to your pool (dependent on both air and water temperature). Inverter technology avoids the power wastage of fixed speed motors, making an inverter heat pump more energy efficient and quieter to run.

What is COP?

COP stands for Coefficient of Performance

COP is quoted as a number, such as 17.80

For each kW of energy input, 17.80 x kW would be output

The higher the output, the lower the running costs

Warranty

Two year parts and labour

Seven years on compressor and the heat exchanger (parts only after year two)
