Our Arad flanged water meter, Woltman type, is made from epoxy coated Cast Iron and features an industrial dry display, magnetic drive and an enclosed teller mechanism which provides full flow action.

Woltman meters are mainly used in industry, agriculture and for larger residential supplies. These meters are made from a piece of flanged pipe bearing a helical reel, whose fins are placed in rotation by the passage of water. Transmission from the reel to the clockworks takes place via magnetic coupling.

These water meters can be installed in any position, however when in use the water meter must be full, optimal metering will only be achieved when the meter is installed in a straight feed that is 10 times the length of the meter body and of the same diameter, and there are no reducers, non-return valves, T-pieces or bends within a metre of the water meter.
