Automatic operation
Each packaged pumping station is supplied with submersible sewage pumps with separate control panel and float switches to provide automatic operation. All of the submersible pumps we supply with our pumping stations are selected for their performance and reliability. Submersible pumps are available in single and three phase.
A control panel and floats are provided as standard to ensure that there is no excess build-up in the event of pump failure, the most common cause of pump failure is a foreign object in the tank being sucked into the pump and creating a blockage. The control panel has LED indicator lights and an audible alarm to alert the user in event of a problem.
Our control panels allow the attached pumps to work in duty standby and duty assist modes, this prevents a single pump from operating continuously and ensures that both pumps are used evenly, it also means that should the duty pump struggle to empty the tank due to the volume of liquid entering the tank, the other pump will automatically activate to assist.
Discharge pipework
We stock coils of MDPE discharge pipework in 25m, 50m and 100m lengths (not all discharge pipe is available in all lengths), and we also supply compression fittings to connect the MDPE pipe to the discharge connector on the tank.
