The Superceptor Full Retention Oil Separator was designed to comply with the requirements of BSEN858 and appears on the Environment Agency list of compliant products for PPG3.
The Superceptor Full Retention Separator was the first UK separator to be fully tested to the requirements of DIN1999 and subsequently BSEN858.
All the flow enters the main chamber and has to pass through the Coalescing Filter. This action creates a discharge of less than 5mg of oil per litre of water or Class 1.
Any oil or fuel present in the run-off water is filtered and stored within the Superceptor, likewise, any silt is also filtered and stored, the remaining ‘clean’ water is passed to drainage.
The Superceptor was designed specifically for use in areas where there is the possibility of significant spillage of pollutants such as petrol filling stations, lorry fuelling areas and bulk fuel transfer areas and all of the discharge from the area must be intercepted.
