The Saci E-Motion frequency inverter has been 100% developed and produced by Saci Pumps in Spain. This new control system allows the user to set a fixed pressure which in turn varies the speed or frequency of the pump motor to maintain the pre-set pressure.

This ability to vary the speed of the pump motor leads to considerable energy savings and reduced running costs, an added benefit is much quieter operation, at lower motor speeds the operation of pumps is barely noticeable.

The E-Motion is a versatile unit and can be mounted directly on compatible Saci pumps, it is also fully adaptable to work with any pump on the market using the additional wall mount. The E-Motion will work with centrifugal, vertical and submersible pumps including new motor technologies such as high efficiency permanent magnet motors.

Set up is extremely simple and the easy start assistant needs just the current time and date, working pressure of the pump, nominal consumption and rotation of the motor. The LCD display indicates the current and reference points for each parameter, more advanced settings are password protected.

The E-Motion utilises a soft start and finish with acceleration and deceleration ramps to avoid over pressure and water hammer.

Up to eight pumps can be attached to a single E-Motion with auto recognition and the unit protects all attached pumps against over pressure, over current, input voltage fluctuations, dry running and broken pipe protection.
