The Poolex Filter Max is the perfect upgrade for bundled Intex and Bestway pool cartridge filters. It delivers the crystal clear water quality of a sand filter, but uses next generation polymer filtration balls inside an ultra lightweight removable basket.
Filter Max 4.8 (80W): Ideal for smaller pools up to 30m³ (approx. 15ft round pools or smaller)
Filter Max 6.8 (140W): Ideal for medium family pools up to 40m³ (up to 18ft round or 24ft rectangular pools)
Filter Max 8 (250W): Ideal for large above-ground or wooden pools up to 50m³ (up to 26ft rectangular pools)
Traditional sand filters require regular backwashing to clean, sending litres of treated, heated pool water straight down the drain. With the Filter Max, you simply lift out the filter basket and rinse the polymer balls with a garden hose.
Equipped with universal 32mm and 38mm connections, it connects directly to standard push fit hoses from most above-ground pool brands without needing tools or extra adapters. Plus because the Filter Max provides a low pressure, high flow system, the pump runs significantly quieter than standard filtration sets while keeping electricity consumption low.
