Backwater damage is a threat to homeowners with sanitary installations below sewer level, the damage caused by flooding and backwater can be extremely expensive.
However, many builders and homeowners are unaware that they can help to protect themselves against backwater.
The Kessel Staufix Basic backwater valve is equipped with free hanging vertical backwater flaps. These flaps ensure that a building’s waste water flows freely through the valve while simultaneously preventing any backwater from returning into the building.
These high-quality backwater valves feature rust-proof all plastic construction and come with a choice of standard polymer flaps, rodent proof Stainless Steel flaps or a combination of both.
The Kessel Staufix Basic backwater valve also offers a minimal drop between the inlet and outlet making installation simpler, especially renovations, and comes in four sizes to suit most discharge pipes, 110mm, 125mm, 160mm and 200mm.
