The JS Pump GST-22 submersible grinder pump has a tungsten carbide cutter and grinding ring which allows up to 28,000 cuts per minute, making these pumps ideal for waste water with organic solids, such as sewage or farm waste.

The JS GS grinder pump can be used for domestic and industrial sewage applications where high head or long distance prohibits the use of standard submersibles or when large bore discharge pipe is not available or uneconomical to install, the discharge on the GS pumps is 2 inch.

Construction on the GS is heavy duty cast iron and Stainless Steel. The GS series pumps are free standing or can be mounted on guide rails for use in packaged pumping stations, the GST-22 pump is available in three-phase (400v) and manual operation only.

Grinder pumps are also known as macerator pumps and cutter pumps.
