The JS Pump GS-1500 submersible grinder pump has a tungsten carbide cutter and grinding ring which allows up to 28,000 cuts per minute, making these pumps ideal for waste water with organic solids, such as sewage or farm waste.

The JS GS grinder pump can be used for domestic and industrial sewage applications where high head or long distance prohibits the use of standard submersibles or when large bore discharge pipe is not available or uneconomical to install, the discharge on the GS pumps is 1¼ inch.

Construction on the GS is heavy duty cast iron and Stainless Steel. The GS series pumps are free standing or can be mounted on guide rails for use in packaged pumping stations, these pumps are available as single or three-phase, operation is manual or automatic (with float switch).

The GS-1500 is a single phase 230v pump, a three phase 415v version, the GST-15, is also available.

Grinder pumps are also known as macerator pumps and cutter pumps.
