The Hydro-Pro Wi-Fi module can be fitted to compatible Hydro-Pro on/off and Inverter pool heat pumps (2018 models) and the Hydro-Pro Z Type Inverter with colour screen (2020 model) allowing you to control your heat pump from your smartphone.

To fit the module on older heat pumps you simply remove the existing controller/display and replace with the new controller that features a Wi-Fi module and antenna. Connection is via a single detachable cable on both types of heat pump making this an upgrade that can be carried out by the owner without the need for an engineer.

Installation on the 2020 colour LCD display Hydro-Pro Z Type Inverter requires the removal of the unit’s lid and the installation of a PCB module inside the heat pump. Full installation details can be found in the pdf manual.

Once you have fitted the new controller or PCB and downloaded the iOS app to your iPhone, simply connect the app to your Wi-Fi network and your heat pump – set up takes a couple of minutes – you can then turn the heat pump on and off, control the temperature, change mode (Inverter models), set the timer, view and change parameter settings and view and diagnose malfunctions.

Important: The 2019/20 Hydro-Pro Type P models are not compatible with these Wi-Fi modules. Please contact us first if you are unsure of compatibility before purchasing.

Please note: the Wi-Fi module forms part of a replacement display/controller for 2018 models, the Z Type Inverter Wi-Fi module is only compatible with 2020 colour LCD display models.
