Hydro-Pro Dehumidifier Type P

Hydro-Pro Dehumidifier Type P

The Hydro-Pro Dehumidifier Type P absorbs moist air from your pool room and transforms it into warm, dry air.

The Type P dehumidifiers include a defrost function to prevent icing when temperature is below 10°C, and an electric heater to raise the pool room temperature two degrees above the water temperature which reduces evaporation.

The Hydro-Pro Dehumidifier is an essential partner with heat pumps on indoor pools. Installing a dehumidifier allows you to enjoy swimming in a comfortable environment without problems such as wall condensation, corrosion and water damage.

The Type P Dehumidifier is controlled by a built-in hygrostat set on one side of the unit (underneath right side) and the target relative humidity (RH) value can be set from 30% to 90%. The unit will not start to dehumidify until the actual RH is beyond the setting value.

It is recommended that an external hygrostat should also be installed to ensure a constant measure of the humidity in your pool area.

What is a dehumidifier?

Even when you cannot see it, moisture in the form of water vapour is all around us in the air. The humidity in the air, if not controlled, will cause corrosion, mould and bacteria growth. When left unchecked, moisture damage in swimming pool buildings causes major structural damage.

The Hydro-Pro Dehumidifier works by drawing moist air over a refrigerated coil with a small fan. The cold coil of the refrigeration device condenses the water, which is removed, then the air is reheated by the hot coil, returning warmer and drier air back to your pool room.
