Highlights
Garden system provides reclaimed rainwater for irrigation to a garden tap (tap not supplied, some additional pipework maybe required)
Rotationally moulded, one piece tanks, installed without the need for concrete, thereby minimising installation costs and supported by 25 year tank guarantee
Installation depth is 60% less than other rainwater tanks due to flat tank, with up to 70% less excavation required, can be installed in ground water up to tank shoulder
Built in self-cleaning filter, overflow kit and pressure sensitive pump delivers clean rainwater to a garden tap
Excavation pit needs to be just 400mm longer and wider than the chosen tank and depth needs to be just 100mm deeper than total height to allow for 100mm aggregate base
Details
The unique flat tank can be installed into higher water tables than a standard round tank. The installation depth is 60% less than other rainwater tanks, whilst excavation can be up to 70% less, meaning less earth excavation and less cost.
The tank can be installed without the need for costly concrete bases or back filling, simply site on 100mm of compacted aggregate and back fill with similar material.
Positioning is flexible and each tank comes with a 635mm shaft that can be cut on site to achieve the required invert level. A pedestrian rated manhole cover is provided for the top of the shaft. Steel shaft and cover available on request for use in driveways or other areas where vehicles may need to drive over the tank cover.
Water companies now recommend, and in some cases require the use of black and green HDPE pipe to transfer the collected rainwater to outlets. Each rainwater system comes with a 25m coil of 25mm black and green HDPE pipe as standard.
Shallow dig flat tank
635mm extension shaft for tank (can be cut by up to 400mm on site)
Pedestrian rated manhole cover
Pre-fitted filter kit including overflow siphon and calmed inlet
Pressure sensitive pump (min. flow 10L/min)
25m coil of 25mm black and green HDPE pipe
Installation pack and labels (for identifying tap water is not suitable for drinking)
