The Faggiolati Gnasher submersible grinder pump is a high-quality pump which has been designed for arduous waste water and sewage applications.
The Faggiolati gnasher pump features a G250 cast iron body and volute, G250+Ni impeller, Stainless Steel grinder mechanism (AISI 440), Stainless Steel shaft and fittings and H07RN/F neoprene cable.
Models 1M to 5M feature Nitrile o-rings and lip seal and silicon carbide/carbide mechanical seal arrangement, while models 6T to 10T have a double mechanical seal. The pumps are supplied free standing with either a 2 inch threaded horizontal flange or a 2-inch BSFP elbow discharge. Guide rail options are available.
All single phase 230v models (M) come complete with a float switch for automatic operation and an IP 55 control box housing an illuminated on/off switch, start and run capacitors, thermal overload and reset. All 400v models (T) are manual operation only (no float switch).
Grinder pumps are also known as macerator pumps and cutter pumps.
Submersible electric pumps with grinder are used for the lifting of waters containing filamentous materials, paper or textile materials.
