The Evak EWS Specialist submersible sewage pump is a heavy-duty pump with a non-clogging vortex impeller constructed from loss wax 316 Stainless Steel.
EWS pumps can be used with medium concentration waste water and are designed for minimised abrasive wear with a large impeller clearance.
The maintenance-free design includes 316 Stainless Steel motor cover, motor housing, rotor and shaft, seal housing, impeller and outer casing, with dual mechanical seal in Si. Ca and a Viton oil seal.
The handle on the half horsepower and one horsepower models is made from nylon 6 and the handle on the 2, 3, 5 and 7.5 horsepower models is made from 316 Stainless Steel.
The EWS is submersible to 10 metres, is protected to IP 68 and is available with a 2 inch threaded vertical discharge, the 3-inch and 4-inch discharge models have a threaded vertical discharge that can be removed to allow a guide rail claw to be fitted directly to the flanged horizontal discharge.
