Break tanks are used to ensure that the necessary amount of water is available to supply a system during periods of normal use and peak demand.
UK water regulations limit the water flow drawn from the mains supply to a maximum of 12 litres per minute, therefore you are not permitted to install a booster sets or other pump directly onto an incoming mains water supply if the flow will exceed 12 litres per minute. Break tanks are therefore a necessity in all DAB ESYBOX installations.
There is not currently a break tank from DAB that fits the ESYBOX MINI 3, a suitable break tank will need to be sourced separately.
