The Conforto PM / P peripheral pump has a radial impeller with horizontal axial suction and radial top discharge.
The PM / P is capable of generating a medium to high discharge head with lower power consumption. Peripheral pumps are displacement pumps, the maximum power consumption is used at the highest head and lowest flow rate, steep capacity to head curves (Q to H) make these pumps ideal for pressure dependent applications such as fountains, irrigation and industry.
These pumps are particularly suited to pumping up and distributing water in domestic water supply systems (maximum suction depth 7m), as well as providing a supply to high-pressure water heating systems. It is recommended that only chemically pure liquids, free of foreign matter, with a temperature below 80°C are pumped.
The PM / P is a horizontal axis pump with a bronze impeller, the pump body and base are made of G20 cast iron, with an AISI 416 stainless steel shaft and mechanical seal made of ceramic/ graphite.
The pump motor is a closed-type with external cooling fan, IP 44 safety class and F insulation. The single-phase motors are fitted with thermostat controlled safety micro switches, the three-phase motors require external capacitor protection (not supplied).
Conforto pumps are Italian designed and built.
