The Conforto JAP self-priming jet pump is available with single or double impeller*, the main feature of these pumps is their very high suction capacity.

The JAP has an axial intake and radial discharge and is particularly suited to deep suction applications (domestic and irrigation) with depths ranging from 10 to 50 metres. It is recommended that the JAP pump is used only with chemically pure liquids that are free from particles with a temperature not greater than 45°C.

Because of their high suction capabilities, it is important that these pumps are not be allowed to run dry to avoid irreversible damage to the pump.

These horizontal axis pumps have a pump body, ejector body and motor bracket made of G20 cast iron, with a stainless steel shaft, the diffuser set and ejector are in Noryl and the impellers are made from bronze (Noryl on request), the mechanical seal is ceramic/graphite.

The pump motor is a closed-type with external cooling fan, IP 44 safety class and F insulation. The single-phase motors are fitted with thermostat controlled safety micro switches, the three-phase motors require external capacitor protection (not supplied).

*The JAP 80 and 100 features a single bronze impeller, the JAP 150, 200 and 300 have a twin bronze impellers.
