Calpeda Mèta

Calpeda Mèta

The Calpeda Mèta is a self priming booster with a built-in frequency converter that maintains constant pressure making it ideal for increasing domestic water pressure.

The Calpeda Mèta automatically adjusts according to the demand, providing constant water pressure and lower running costs.

The Mèta has a pressure sensor on the discharge side, a built-in pressure vessel in the pump casing and a non-return valve on the suction side.

Compact and quiet the Mèta is equipped with an IE4 high efficiency asynchronous motor.

The Mèta cannot be connected directly to the mains water supply, it must be connected to a suitable break tank.

Break tanks

Break tanks are used to ensure that the necessary amount of water is available to supply a system during periods of normal use and peak demand.

UK water regulations limit the water flow drawn from the mains supply to a maximum of 12 litres per minute, therefore you are not permitted to install a booster sets or other pump directly onto an incoming mains water supply if the flow will exceed 12 litres per minute. Break tanks are therefore a necessity in all Calpeda Mèta installations.

A suitable break tank will need to be sourced separately.
