The BBC Semisom GR125 submersible grinder pump has been designed for waste water and sewage type applications. The cutter mechanism reduces the size of solid material, enabling it to be pumped through relatively small bore pipework.
The cutter on the GR125 is anti-clogging and forged from tempered steel, it is designed to prevent blockages and has a high starting torque. The video below shows the cutter in action.
The GR125 is a high head (up to 30m) high-efficiency pump that has been designed for dependability.
Grinder pumps are also known as macerator pumps and cutter pumps.
